Joan Coffey 92, of Nowata, passed away June 4, 2021, in Joplin Missouri. She was born December 12, 1928, in Nowata to William and May (Hutton) Duvall. Joan graduated from Nowata High School and on January 30, 1953, she married Loren Coffey Sr. She was a cook at several restaurants in Nowata and Coffeyville and was well known for the pies she baked. Joan also made dolls which everyone loved, as well as painted T-shirts. Joan was a very crafty person and was always busy doing something. Above all she was a loving mother and grandmother. Joan will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Joan in death are her parents William and May Duvall, her children, Betty Jean Geeise, Patricia Tate, Loren Coffey Jr., and. Gloria Nobblitt.

Survivors include her children, Anna Allen and husband Jim, Debra Sjolander and husband Ron, John Morrison, Curt Morrison, and wife Margaret; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, many great-great grandchildren; all her siblings; a nephew, Marvin Spears, and wife Pat; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral services for Joan Coffey will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com
