Hubert Nolen Jameson, 87, a longtime resident of Delaware, passed away on May 5, 2021, with his family by his side. Hubert was born May 30, 1933, in Geary, OK, to Robert Eldee and Mary Addie (Vaughn) Jameson. He graduated from Geary High School and married Ramona Joyce Lorenz on June 1, 1952 in Geary. Hubert was a hard worker working on a dairy farm for 15 years as well as a flour mill for 5 years. He was a partner owning a rock quarry for 5 years and worked in the Real Estate business around Nowata for 20 years where he retired at the age of 80. He was a member of the Delaware Methodist Church serving in many capacities. If something needed done at church he was there to take care of it. Hubert served on the Delaware School Board, Delaware City Council, and was past President of The Goat Meat Producers. He really enjoyed caring for his goats and they were a very important part of his life. Everyone Hubert met he made a friend out of. He would always help anyone in need. He cared very much about other people.  Hubert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother. He held a special place in his heart for all his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Proceeding Hubert in death are his parents, Robert and Mary Jameson; siblings LeRoy Jameson, Herman Jameson, Amalee Moore; and a grandson, Brian Jameson.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Jameson of the home; children, Beverly Mock and husband Jim, Ron Jameson and friend Pat, Belinda Lowrance and husband David, David Jameson and wife Jenny, Kenneth Jameson, Billy Jameson, Celeste Jameson; thirteen grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Carol Boomer, Phyllis McArthur; many other relatives, and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church, 109 W. Shawnee Ave, Nowata, OK, with Pastor Jeffrey Rickman officiating.
