Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Zora Ann (Lowder) Moss passed away at her daughters' home in Eucha, Oklahoma on Thursday December 27, 2018 at the age of 93.
Zora Ann was born on August 31, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Verrow Dale Lowder, Sr. and Elmina Elizabeth (Kessler) Lowder. Zora grew up in Tulsa, moving to Kenwood after the marriage to Carl Joseph Reasor, Jr. and to this union five children were born. Zora worked as a cook in school cafeterias, she later went back to school, and started to work at The Northeastern State Hospital in Vinita Oklahoma as a Nutritionist and Relief Supervisor. After retiring she decided to go back to school and was trained as a Elder Provider for the Delaware Co. Health Department, she worked until a second retirement. Zora was an excellent seamstress, loved to cook, she loved making candy on holidays, and her specialty was her Fruit Cakes and Fudge.
Zora was a people pleaser and always wanting to make sure everyone else was taken care of first. She loved her family, she was proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed laughing and telling everyone about them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband Richard Moss; two brothers Verrow Dale Lowder, Jr., Jimmy Dean Lowder; and one sister Sylvia Jo Rife; one grandson David Carl Reasor Jr.; and one great granddaughter Stencee Montgomery. She is survived by one sister Betty lean / Mac Makhani; three sons and two daughters: Jo Ann McClary of Miami, OK, David Reasor of Jay, OK, Rodney Reasor of Keithly, OK, Rosalita / Larry Sloan of Eucha, OK, Jimmy Dale/Elaine Reasor of Oaks, OK; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8PM, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Jay Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Eucha Holiness Church with Pastor Tim Lunsford officiating. Zora will be laid to rest in the Eucha Cemetery.
