Webb Brown, Jr.

Webb E. Brown, Jr., 70, of Adair, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Born on July 23, 1936 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Webb Everett and Nina (Thompson) Brown. Webb was married to Emogene Powell in Miami, OK on April 6, 1968. He was the General Manager for the Vinita Farmer's CO-OP. He was a lifelong Mayes and Craig County area resident. He was a farmer, liked to play the guitar, fish and hunt, caller for square dances, private pilot and a BIG OU fan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Emogene Children; Vaneesa and Dennis McCrary of Highland Village, TX Aaron Brown of Owasso Jeannie Kay Goins of Adair Brothers and Sister; Riley E. and Margaret Brown of Grass Valley, CA E.C. and Bertha Brown of Temple, TX John R. and Martha Brown of Indianapolis, IN Bob G. Brown of Grove Norma and Bob Newman of Warner Ronnie Wayne and Beverly Brown of Skiatook Seven Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, OK. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Big Cabin with Pastor Skip McClain, officiating. Burial will be in the Adair Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Kelly Brown, George Brown, Jody Brown, D.J. Peper, Clint Peper and Blake Peper. Honorary Casket Bearers will be; Mike Baker, Wayne Baker, Sonny Chase, Henry Collins, Bill Potts, Jim Fry and Kenneth Erdwin.
