Uriah "Louis" Hadley, 83, of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 12, 1936 in Wann, Oklahoma to Uriah Maris Hadley and Melvina (Kelley) Hadley. He attended Wann School district. Louis married the love of his life Lilly (Allison) Hadley, September 19, 1959. He was employed with Burgess-Norton Manufacturing Company where he was a machinist. He machined wrist pins for diesel motors along with other parts. Louis was a member of the Assembly of God in Foyil, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing and wood working (he could craft anything out of a block of wood). He was very talented and could fix or build anything you put in front of him. He loved playing with his grandchildren and cared for his family very much. Louis will be missed by all who knew him.
Louis is survived by his wife; Lilly (Allison) Hadley of the home, three children: Cheryl Hughes and husband Stan of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, Kevin Hadley and wife Alisha of Chelsea, Oklahoma, Karla Hadley-Stodghill and husband Larry of Shawnee, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren: Clinton Hughes, Tara Barry, Casey Hadley, Caleb Hadley, Galadriel Sorrows, Deana Haddock, Trey Lancaster, Zara Deskin, sixteen great grandchildren and many other family and friends that were dear to his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents Uriah Maris Hadley and Melvina (Kelley) Hadley and twelve siblings Wesley Hadley, George Hadley, Donald Hadley, Vera McAfee, Bessie Sharpe, Mary Huddleston, Dorothy Ryan, Hazel Ryan, Iva Parks, Ida McKinney, Emma Stevens, Pearl Hadley
