Ruth Annette Polson

Ruth Annette Polson, 80, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away onDecember 2, 2023, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Vallejo, California, on July 5, 1943, to Robert Frost and Gladine (Copeland) Frost.

Ruth grew up in Edna, Kansas, graduating from Edna High School. After high school, she attended college and received her nursing degree and went on to work for many years at Winsor Place and Ashbury Village, both in Coffeyville, Kansas. She married Clifford Polson.

Ruth loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, cooking, and working in her flower garden. She was also an animal lover. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Gladine Frost and her daughter: Lela Williams.

Those left to cherish the memory of Ruth include her children: Kim Polson, Diane Polson, Robert Gearhart, and Randall Gearhart; her grandchildren: Jessica Reynolds, Timothy Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, and Calli Gearhart; many great-grandchildren, her siblings: Roberta Sandusky, Raymond Frost and Randy Frost, along with other family members and friends.
