Randle Craig Boothe

1960-2025

Randle "Craig" Boothe, a man known for his generous spirit and love of the outdoors, passed away on August 30, 2025, in Nowata, Oklahoma, following a brief illness. He was 65 years old.

Born on February 3, 1960, in Tyler, Texas, to the late Phillip and Betty (McClenny) Boothe, Craig grew up in East Texas surrounded by a large extended family. From an early age, he was drawn to the outdoors, developing a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing. This love of adventure also fueled his obsession with motorcycles and the open road; his final bike was a treasured Harley Night Train. After graduating from John Tyler High School in 1979, he began his career as a mechanic but soon found his true calling in utility construction. He started as a lineman and eventually built and ran his own successful underground utility company. A thirst for new adventures later led him to become a truck driver and crane operator.

To his friends and family, Craig was the ultimate handyman and true friend. He was the first to show up to lend a hand, whether it was to build a deck or repair a tractor. If something needed fixing, you could count on Craig to know how to do it and get it done right. He found immense joy in helping others and sharing his knowledge.

Craig's memory will be cherished by his wife, Sorita Boothe and his children: Lacye Rhoads (Michael), Cherijo Schultheis, Jonathan Boothe (Amanda), Will Arons (Christina), and Ashley McGill (Mike). He also leaves behind 11 beloved grandchildren: Melanie, Brooklynn, Madeline, Coby, Mason Cooper, Carlee Jo, Alaina, Brandi, Jace, Robert, and Weston. He will be dearly missed by his sister, Sandra Boothe, and countless freinds and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Betty Boothe.
