Pamela June Palone, age 64, passed away peacefully November 2, 2020 after a short illness with glioblastoma. She was born January 30, 1956 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Raymond and Bobbie Wilson.
Pam grew up in Delaware, Oklahoma and was a 1974 graduate of Delaware High School. She married Nick Palone on June 13, 1975 and they made their home in South Coffeyville. On January 14, 1990 they welcomed their daughter, Kate into their family.
Pam worked at a few pharmacies in Coffeyville before spending 20 years employed at South Coffeyville school as an elementary tutor and Indian Coordinator. She made many dear friends through the school. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Delaware, Oklahoma. She loved her church family and loved her Lord. She served many positions in the church over the years.
Pam was very talented and loved to share her talents with others. She played piano and organ at church and gave lessons at times. She was an avid painter and loved her art friends. Pam has always had a soft spot for animals and has adopted many over the years.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Wilson, and brother, John Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Nick, of the home; daughter, Kate, of Portland, Oregon; mother, Bobbie Wilson, of Nowata; brother, Jim Jones, of Spokane, Washington; sister, Sarah Thornburgh, of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; sister, Karen Palone, of South Coffeyville and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
