Naomi Henry

Naomi Kathleen Spurgeon Henry, 48, of Vinita, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 in Tulsa at the Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital. Born on July 16, 1958 in Vinita to Orville E and Virginia (Hopper) Spurgeon. Naomi grew up in Miami, OK and had lived in Vinita for the past 12 years. Attended Faith Tabernacle Church in Commerce, attended Miami Schools and was a factory worker. She was preceded in death by her father-Orville Spurgeon. Survivors are 1 Son-Clint Henry of Idaho, Mother-Virginia Spurgeon of Miami, 2 Sisters; Sherry and Joe Dottrich of Vinita Sheila and Steve Gower of Miami 2 Brothers; Duke Spurgeon and his companion Kristi McFadden of Miami Sheldon and Ruby Spurgeon of Miami Several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation will be 7:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006 at Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery north of Grove, OK, with Rev. Viola Perdue officiating. Casket Bearers will be; Larry Duff, Duke Spurgeon, Fred Reed, Travis Dottrich, Trent Grimes and Mike Cordes. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Joe Dottrich, Steve Gower and Sheldon Spurgeon. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, OK.
