Montgomery "Monty" Wayne Gillman

Montgomery “Monty” Wayne Gillman, 62-year-old Delaware resident, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at his residence in Delaware, Oklahoma. He was born February 5, 1962, to Robert Eugene Gillman and Charlene Geneiva (Marlin) Gillman, in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Monty worked in several industries throughout the years including oilfield work, running heavy equipment, as well as construction. In his free time, he liked to fish, do woodwork, work on vehicles, take trips to the casino for a couple of beers, and to travel.

Monty was also an excellent dancer, which always attracted lady friends. He took excellent care of his group of lady friends and enjoyed taking them on trips and making sure that their lawns were mowed. Monty also loved his dogs: Blackie and Pup-Pup, as well as his family and friends. He will be missed by all whom loved him.

Monty is survived by 1 brother, several aunts, 1 uncle, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Charlene Gillman, and his grandparents: Fred and Mary Evelyn Gillman and Charles and Doramae Marlin.
