Mary Johnson

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OKLAHOMA, 918-786-2261. Mary Laidlaw Johnson, age 98, Grove, Oklahoma passed away  Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Grandwood Assisted Living Center.

She was born October 6, 1920 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Robert Mower and Isabell Zinn Mower.

She married J.F. Johnson, Jr. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Survivors include two sons, Robert “Bob” Johnson and wife, Candice, Tulsa, OK, and Joe Johnson and wife, Toni, Sacramento, CA; and one daughter, Jan Smith and husband, Donnie, Grove, OK; a neighbor whom she considered a daughter, Merle Young; two grandchildren, Megan Cocci and husband, Anthony, Sacramento, and  Durk Hoak, and wife, Michelle, East Falmouth, MA; and a fur baby Tillie.

A Celebration of life will be 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Shebangs on Monkey Island. There will be light finger foods and a cash bar.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
