Marquita Dee Patteson

Marquita Dee Patteson, 83, of Nowata, Oklahoma died September 16, 2023, in Dewey, Oklahoma. She was born January 12, 1940, in Nowata, Oklahoma to Joseph Dee and Cecil (Sutherland) Dee.

She was a graduate of Nowata High School, and she married Franklin Joseph “Joe” Patteson in Nowata on December 25, 1958. Marquita enjoyed quilting and traveling.  She was very passionate about oil painting and took classes to learn art. Marquita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her grandson Kevin being a member of the United States Air Force and Nathan being a registered nurse. She had a special place in her heart for all her family and will be missed by all.

Preceding Mrs. Patteson in death are her parents, and a sister Jenna Lee Thompson. She is survived by her sons, Allan Patteson and wife Gina, Jason Scott and wife Sarah, grandsons Kevin Patteson, Nathan Patteson great grandchildren, Harper Patteson, Asher Patteson, many other relatives and a host of friends.
