Linda Lou Osborn Reddick

December 22, 1938 — March 30, 2026

Bartlesville

Linda Lou Osborn Reddick, 87, longtime Bartlesville resident, passed Monday, Mar. 30, 2026, at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville following an extended illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on Dec. 22, 1938, in Nowata, OK to Tom and Alice (Beckwith) Osborn. She was a graduate of Nowata High School and worked for the Phillips Petroleum Company as a travel agent for many years. She married Steve Humphrey on Sept. 21, 1968 and together they lived in KC, MO, Miami, FL, Tallahassee Fl, Cedartown, GA, and Rocky Mount, NC. They had one child from their marriage, Lisa Ann Humphrey. Linda and Lisa were incredibly close throughout life. Linda and Steve divorced in 1981, after which she moved back to Oklahoma and resumed her career with Phillips Petroleum Company (thanks, Carolyn!). She married John Reddick on Nov. 16, 1984, and made their home in Bartlesville. Linda and John were lucky enough to enjoy a long retirement together filled with lots of excursions around the US. She loved being a grandmother to Ella Kai and in her later years enjoyed eating breakfast at the Midway Café with John, eating lunch and shopping with her sisters, taking day trips to Woolaroc, going for drives in the country to watch the wild horses, and feeding the outside kitties around her home. Linda was tough as a boot, surviving 2 strokes, and, by working incredibly hard in therapy, regained her speech and independence. She maintained a positive attitude and a can-do spirit throughout her life. She loved sports, especially the OSU Cowboys and the OKC Thunder. She was also a proud Washington County Democrat.Linda is survived by her husband, John Reddick of the home; daughter and daughter in law, Lisa and KC Humphrey of Omaha; granddaughter, Ella Kai Humphrey of Omaha; sisters Nyla Newton of Bartlesville, and Janie Benuzzi of Broken Arrow; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Myers, Joan Cary, and Margie Shannon. In lieu of flowers Linda would appreciate donations to Woolaroc in her memory.
