Landon Jacob “ Superman” Smith, 42, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away on November 23, 2021, peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 9, 1979, to Lewie J. Smith and Della R. (Owensby) Smith.
Landon received his high school diploma from Decatur, Arkansas. Throughout his life, he lived in numerous places such as areas in Arkansas, Ripley, Glencoe, Stillwater, and Oklahoma City. He relocated to Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 2000. Landon enjoyed going to church and attended Hillside Christian Church in Nowata, Oklahoma.
Landon had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life. He loved to joke and make others laugh. In his free time, he loved to watch movies and make trips to Wal-Mart. His other favorite pastime was singing and dancing. He was an avid Superman fan. Landon’s family held a very special place in his heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Landon is survived by his parents, Lewie and Della Smith of the home, two siblings; Tammy Kelly and husband, Bill of Nowata, OK and Tony Smith and wife, Victoria of Stillwater, OK, nieces and nephews; Summer Been and husband, Cole of Okemah, OK, Bryce Williams-USAF stationed in Spain, Cierra Thomas of Okemah, OK, Lyle Smith of Okemah,OK, Will Kelly of Nowata, OK, Rylee Kelly of Verdigris, OK, and Jace Kelly of Nowata, OK, one great nephew, Eden Thomas , and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Landon Smith will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Hillside Christian Church with Pastors Van Longbons and John Presko officiating. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Services in Nowata, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Landon’s name can be sent to Traditions Hospice located at 2221 E. Skelly Dr. Tulsa, OK 74105.
