LaDeena (Link) Murphy “Deenie”, 73, of Nowata, OK passed away peacefully on October 14, 2022.  A celebration of her life will be held at the First Church of God on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00pm.

Deenie was born on June 27, 1949 in Nowata, OK.  Deenie graduated from Nowata High School in 1967 and Oklahoma State University in 1971.  Deenie began working at REDA Pump/Schlumberger in Bartlesville in 1978.  Deenie built a successful career there as an Industrial Engineer.  Deenie retired from Schlumberger in 2004.  On December 23, 2006 Deenie married Jack Murphy and they enjoyed many happy years traveling, fishing, and just being together. In retirement, Deenie loved being with her grandchildren, gardening, having fun with her class of 1967, and spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her mother Rosie Link, father George Link, and sister Jay Dobbs.

Deenie is survived by her husband Jack Murphy.  Daughter Amy McKee, her husband Clint McKee, and daughters Raigan, Taylor, and Alexandria McKee.  Sister-in-law Sharon Pizzuto and her husband Mike.  Jack’s children, Stephaine Pugh and her son Tommy, Jonna Cockrell, her husband John and children Alexandria, Jackson, and Bryce.   Shawn Murphy and his daughter Kiela.  As well as nephews and numerous cousins.  She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
