Kaedynce Marlene Renee Applington, affectionately known as "baby" by everyone who knew and loved her. She also got the nicknames "Lady Kaedy bug" from mom, "Goosey Girl" by her big sister Kaeliegh, and "Marlene" by daddy.
Kaedynce completed her family on a Friday, July 7, 2017, at the St Johns Hospital in Tulsa. She was born 2 months early and spent her first 6 weeks of her life in the NICU Unit at St. Johns. On Friday, Mar 13, 2026 around 1:00 am, her families world crumbled when they realized she was in the arms of Jesus, with all of her family that preceded her and are loved and missed by their family everyday.
Kaedynce was the brightest light in any room she entered. Her happy silly personality always kept everyone around her smiling and laughing. Even though she didn't talk much, she proved everyday just how intelligent she was. Before she could even stand, she knew every letter in the alphabet and could identify them irregardless of the order they were in. The same could be said about her numbers. Later on, she could recognize every color, shape, fruit or vegetable , and skip count all the way to 14's without hesitation. She hyperfixated on all the things she loved so much due to her autism. Her autism also made her very strong, very determined, to the point that if she did not want to do something, we definitely was not going to do it.
She attended Nowata Public School from kindergarten to the 2nd grade. She was accepted into "Paths to Independence" in Bartlesville 3 months into the 2nd grade, where she absolutely thrived. She was always singing or doing little arm exercises while saying daily affirmations. "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "I/we are Special" affirmations were her favorites.
Her "baby binky", tablet, foam letters, swimming pools, bubbles, her favorite fruit/vegetable toys, and any string like item or piece of paper she could shake around was what life was all about. Elmo, Cookie Monster, and everyone on Sesame Street were her best friends since day one.
Kaedynce is survived by her "mama" and "daddy"; 3 big sisters, Kenzie Leigh, Kaeliegh Marie, and Kenadee Layne; maternal great grandmothers, Shirley Belden of Nowata, and Judy Turner of Kansas City; Maternal "MamMa" Vicki Turner of Nowata; grandfathers, "Papa" Steve Turner and wife Patty of Kansas City, Ks, and grandpa Clayton Applington of North Vernon, Indiana. Maternal Great Grandfather Steve Turner of Kansas City, Ks.; uncles Kent Applington and his wife Teresa of Ochelata, and Tyler Belden and his spouse Stormy Moore of Nowata. Her aunts, Dawn Slayton and wife Lisa Slayton of Jay, Kristen Turner and her spouse Cody Murphy of Bartlesville, Sara Turner and her spouse Robby Kerr of Nowata, Cheyenne Turner and partner Kristina Steinbacher of Leavenworth, KS. As well as numerous great aunts and uncles, and tons of cousins all over the world who loves sweet Kaedynce so much, as well as a host of friends who have become as family.
