Judy England, 83 years of age and a long time resident of Owasso, passed on May 17, 2025, at her home with her family by her. Judy was born on Dec. 4, 1941, in Sallisaw, OK. to Charley and Irene (Anderson) Ball. She grew up in the Brushy Mountain Community of Sequoyah County and was a 1961 graduate of Sallisaw High School. As she grew up, Judy and her family were faithful in their attendance to the Brushy Mountain Holiness Church, and it was there that she met the man she would spend her life with. On Mar. 14, 1964, she and Arkie England were married at her parents house in Brushy. Arkie preceded her in death on Jan 17, 2019. They had 4 children and were owners of the Sequoyah Roofing Company for over 50 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with all her family, camping and just enjoying life.

Judy is survived by her four children, Angie and David, Cindy and Tim, Troy, Travis and Carrie; Grandchildren, Jeremy, Alyssa and Jared, Jesse, Jacob, Lilly and Dalton, Nathaniel, Micha and Shane, Riely, Alex, Brooklynn; Great Grandchildren, Chloe, Stevie, Thea, Maggie, Ben, Preston, Isla, Charlie, Cooper, Rhett, Rylan, Conner, Emma; Sister, Diane Pratt; nephews, Charley Ray and Joe; niece, Tammy Tatham; as well as a host of other relatives. She was blessed by the many friends that came into her life and there were two neighbors, Curt and Tori Aldridge, that were a helping hand at a moments notice. Whether is was around the house or just a nice conversation, she was so appreciative of these two. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arkie; her parents; one sister, Sharley Woody; one grandson, Justin Pratt; and an infant son, and a grandson before their birth.
Visitation for Judy will be held at the Brushy Holiness Church, Sallisaw, OK., on Friday, May 23 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, May 24 at 1:00 pm in the Brushy Holiness Church with interment immediately following in the Brushy Cemetery. Her niece, Tammy Tatham will officiate the funeral service with Judy’s grandsons, Jeremy, Jesse, Jacob, Nathaniel, Riely, and Alex serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer will be Dale Henry.
