Jeri Kay Rush

Bella Vista, Arkansas

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Jeri Kay Rush who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 87. Jeri was born in Maud, Oklahoma on July 24,1937 to George and Ina Shriver. The family later moved to Nowata, Oklahoma where Jeri graduated from high school. Jeri and Bill Rush were high school sweethearts and married in December 1956. Their union was gifted with three children, Rick, Kristi and Jeff.

Jeri was a successful real estate agent and broker in Edwardsville, Illinois and loved finding her clients their perfect home. Jeri and Bill moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas after retirement and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and being active in their church. Jeri was creative and enjoyed making beautiful hand sewn quilts that she made for each of her kids and grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-seven years Bill Rush, her brother and sister-in-law Dwight and Nelita Shriver, half-brother, C.R. Shriver and half-sister, Helen Ogden and sister-in-law Veda Lilburn. She is survived by her three children and spouses Rick and Kathy Rush of Loveland, Colorado, Kristi and Mike Gill of Roanoke, Texas, and Jeff and Ellie Rush of Belknap, Illinois. Four grandchildren; Ian and Sean Rush, Brian and Danielle Gill, and three great grandchildren Aramiez and Odyssey Rush; and Charles Scott Rush. Her sister and brother-in-law Mike and Patti Watson of Arizona, Bob Rush of Texas, and nieces and nephews she adored.

A graveside memorial service will be held on August 6th at Nowata Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesnowata.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of Benjamin Funeral Service.
