Howard Matsler

January 2, 1942 — June 15, 2019

Howard Wesley Matsler, age 77, Grove, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Intergris Grove Hospital, Grove.

He was born January 2, 1942 in Jackson, Illinois to the late Ricardo Matsler and Myrna Hawk Matsler.

Howard served in the United States Airforce. Following his Airforce career, he owned and operated his computer programming business.

He married Brenda Quay Byers on August 19, 1969 in Fort Smith, Ark. She preceded him in death November 2, 2006.

In addition to his parents, and wife, was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Matsler.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Matsler, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jay Matsler, Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Melia Matsler, Sklyer Matsler and wife, Saddie, Savannah Matsler, and Amber Matsler; three great grandchildren, Eli Matsler, Stormy Matsler, Lacie Matsler.

Funeral services a planned for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the Worley Luginbuel Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. in the Drake Stand cemetery, Sallisaw, OK.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Worley- Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove.
