Earl Taylor Armstrong 67, of El Sobrante, CA, former resident of Nowata, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 with his family at his side. He was born July 29, 1951 in Nowata, OK to Leroy and Ethel (Patteson) Armstrong. He received his education from Nowata High School class of 1969. Earl continued his education at University of Oklahoma with a bachelor degree in Commercial Art. After graduation he moved to California where he married Loretta Loconsolo and had one son Eric but later divorced. Earl worked for many years for Charles Schwab as a er-lithographer where he was very knowledgeable at his carrier and took pride in his work. Earl then decided to obtain his teaching certificate and took a job in Thailand to teach English. While there Earl met his companion Wanna Baitong that he loved and cared for. Earl enjoyed art, playing bass guitar, and flute, traveling and riding his motorcycle. Earl also was an avid sports fan and supported his favorite teams OU, San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers in which he held season tickets to for many years. He was very talented and could do anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them unconditionally. Earl will be missed by all who knew him.

Earl is survived by his one son: Eric Armstrong of Emeryville, CA; one brother: Leroy Armstrong and wife Diana of Katy, TX; and one granddaughter: Vanessa Armstrong of Emeryville, CA, also his companion Wanna Baitong. Nephews Chris and Jonathan Armstrong of California and many other family and friends that were dear to his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lee and Ethel (Patteson) Armstrong.
