Dr. Crissman

Dr. Ellison M. Crissman, 91, of Vinita, passed away Wed. Oct. 4, 2006 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita. Born on Sept. 27, 1915 in St. John, Kansas to Glen and Sarah (Peats) Crissman. Dr. Crissman was a retired Chiropractor and had lived in Blackwell, OK. Member of Rotary, Oklahoma Chiropractic Assn. and a member of Emmanuel Temple Church. He and Betty Jean Williams were married on Jan. 3, 1941 and were married for 49 ½ years when she passed away in 1990. Also preceded in death by 2 Children David Crissman and Rebecca Whitman. Survivors include; Children; Nancy and Larry Hudson of Vinita Fern and Ron Boling of Claremore Robert and Valree Crissman of Littleton, CO Paul and Valerie Crissman of Boylston, Nova Scotia Brother-Eldon Crissman of Colorado Springs, CO Sister- Jean McElvain of Colorado Springs, CO Grandchildren; Linda and Eddie Ford of OKC Mike and Nancy Smith of Vinita John Scott Crissman of KY Laura and Jimmie Deibert of Broken Arrow Melinda and Eric Dunn of Frisco, TX Claudia and Jerrod Chambliss of Katy, TX Kyle Crissman of Lubbock, TX Scott Crissman of Stillwater Wesley Pearson of Ponca City, OK. Christopher Whitman of Vinita Nathan and Jannine Crissman of Katy, TX Jason Crissman of Katy, TX Dustin Crissman of Katy, TX Donations may be made to the Gideons in Dr. Crissman honor. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday 10-6-06 in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel of Vinita, OK. With Rev. Bruce Butler, officiating. Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Blackwell, OK. Casket Bearers will be Grandsons; John Scott Crissman, Kyle Crissman, Scott Crissman, Nathan Crissman, Jason Crissman and Dustin Crissman. Honorary Casket Bearers will be ; Rolland Hill, Bob Stover, Frank Stover and Dale Wilson. Services under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
