Doyle was born and raised in Tulsa, OK, he moved to Vinita, OK 5 years ago. He was a self-employed carpenter all his life.

Survivors include two brothers Danny Dale Davis of Millbrook, Alabama, Billy Davis of Vinita, OK; and sister Diane Davis of Tulsa, OK.
