Dan A. Haugh, 89, of Oologah, Oklahoma passed away August 31, 2021, in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was born in Nowata, Oklahoma September 18, 1931, to Matson H. and Jennie Eula Myrtle (Powell) Haugh. Dan graduated from Nowata High School and continued his education at Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater where he earned a degree in Architecture. On April 3, 1953, he married the love of his life, Mary Angeline Reams in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for many years, and they traveled all over the world. One very memorable job Dan had, was one of the Architects on ECOfisk, the first platform drilling rig in the North Sea. Over his 35-year career at Phillips he played an integral part in creating the Bartlesville skyline.  Dan enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, and bird hunting. He loved chocolate and had a great sense of humor.  He never met a stranger. Dan also collected 1965 Ford Mustangs which his children loved to drive when they were in high school. Above all Dan loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, and other family members had a special place in his heart. Dan will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding Dan Haugh in death are his parents Matson and Jenny Haugh; a son, Matson H. Haugh; and two siblings, Wendell Haugh, and Bettyann Boydston.

Survivors include his wife Mary  Ann of the home; children, Jeannine LaBarr and husband Jim, of Oologah, Oklahoma, Charlotte Bartel and husband Mike, of Valley Center, Kansas, Bonnie West and husband Marc, of Loxley, Alabama; a son in-in-law Steve Parrish; ten grandchildren, Sarah Wolter, Michael Hodson, Kristen Bartel and Nathan Bartel, Andrew Dylan Harmon, Louis Parrish, Mary Angeline Parrish, Autumn Lea Parrish, Jennie West, Batt West; 15 great grandchildren; two nephews, Dr. Michael Haugh, Joe Boydston; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Services for Dan Haugh will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com or see our Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kansas City Chapter of the cystic fibrosis foundation in Dan’s name.
