Beaulah David

Beaulah Kidd, 98, went to her eternal home with the Lord on December 17, 2025, from the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Beaulah was born July 12, 1927, in Nowata, to Leroy and Bessie Lybargar, she was the seventh of eight children. She attended school at Nowata and enjoyed employment with the local merchants of Nowata. During this time a wonderful thing happened, she met the love of her life, Earl Kidd. They were married on April 14, 1945, and started their life together on the family farm in Delaware. There they worked their dairy and farmed, raising crops to feed the animals, for many years before getting out of the dairy business and raising beef cattle. Beaulah and Earl enjoyed 43 years of wonderful marriage together before his passing in 1989. During this time, they also raised three children, Shirley Lunsford, John Kidd and Gene Kidd. Beaulah went to work in the early 1960's at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita and worked there into the early 1980's. Starting out as just an entry level nurse, she worked up to being a supervisor over different buildings there.Beaulah was a great cook, an avid seamstress and a wonderful mom, granny, with "her preference" as a great granny and great-great granny. One of her greatest gifts was to make you feel welcomed and loved and to talk about her Lord.Beaulah was proceeded in death by her husband Earl, her parents, her four brothers Clarence, Elijah, Earnest, and Daniel Lybargar; two sisters, Ruby Martin and Mary McCormick. Beaulah is survived by her daughter, Shirley Lunsford and husband Bill of Delaware; son John Kidd and wife Janet of Delawar; son Gene Kidd and wife Penny of Oolagah; grandchildren Susie and Eric Bushyhead, Billy and Wanda Lunsford, Jennifer and John Lane, Josh and Ashley Kidd, Stacey and Mike Guthrie, great-grandchildren, Maddie Smith, Cheyenne and Dylan Hayes and their children Gracyn, Laikyn, and Bryar; her sister Ella Rogers, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life services for Beaulah David will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel, Nowata, Oklahoma. Her final resting place will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata. Casket bearers for Ms. David will be Billy Lunsford, Claude Martin, Gene Kidd, John Kidd, Josh Kidd, and Mike Guthrie.
